Thirteenth Floor

February 4, 2018 by timzieger 1 Comment

Hi faithful readers,

Life outside of 0’s and 1’s has been carrying on in its busy little way lately. Hence my not writing.

One of the things I’ve been happily doing is the “Songwriters’ Roundtable” at a local community center called The Gathering Place. After our meeting last month a challenge was issued to write one to three songs based on titles we all came up with. We could not choose our own titles.

This song was written on the title “Thirteenth Floor”.

I am just now regaining my voice after having lost it a couple days ago. I wanted to capture the sound of this literally broken voice before it healed completely, so I decided to record the song now, rough as it is.
